Each year, more than 1 million visitors discover travelling exhibitions or co-productions produced by Universcience, both in France and internationally. Here are a few of the partners the Palais de la découverte and the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie have recently collaborated with:

• In France, nationally: “From the Dig to Labs,” an exhibition co-produced with the Pavillon des Sciences (Montbéliard) and the Forum départemental des sciences (Villeneuve d’Ascq); “Did You Say Chemistry?” in co-production with Espace des sciences (Rennes, France) and in partnership with Strasbourg University.

• Internationally: “Enjoy Your Meal!”, co-produced with Heureka (Finland), Technopolis (Belgium) and Museo Leonardo da Vinci (Italy); member of a European museums consortium with Heureka (Finland) and Pavilhão do conhecimento (Portugal), responsible for producing three different exhibitions.

Travelling or co-produced exhibitions

Every year, close to one million visitors in France and throughout the world visit Universcience’s travelling or co-produced exhibitions. The Universcience team provides “à la carte” support from a catalogue of travelling exhibitions. Recent successes include:

“Enjoy Your Meal,” now in Mexico, created with three European coproducers;

“Engineering Earth,” produced with the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Grenoble, the Vaisseau, the Forum départemental des sciences, the Pont du Gard site, and the Musée des Confluences, to be exhibited in Connecticut;

“Leonardo da Vinci”, in Germany, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

Cultural engineering expertise

Benefitting from extensive expertise, Universcience supports project sponsors throughout each step of the process: creating new equipment, upgrading existing spaces, and training personnel. Universcience helped create programming for: Cité de la mer in Biarritz, created a Cité des enfants in one of the biggest shopping centres in Dubai, and provided consulting services to upgrade the Emirate of Sharjah science center.
