PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
Aware of the key role playedby the staff in supporting visitor learning,
Universcience has initiated the project of a professional school for
informal science educators. This project is being conducted in
partnershipwith local institutions andFrench schools anduniversities.
The aim is to provide a framework for professionalizing science
communication and a real opportunity to structure and develop the
training of science educators through ongoing education.
SERVICES
30 SHORT CONTINUING EDUCATION MODULES
(fee-based) on four
aspects of the job: designing facilitation activities, leading them,
improvingknowledge andpractices, andmanaging facilitationprojects
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
for science educators on the job but also
for doctoral students, researchers and experts, cultural facilitators,
librarians or disseminators of scientific information
EDUCATION
given by licensed professionals, and regularly updated
and revised.
